How does it work?
You declare a goal and share one link or a six-letter code. Anyone can write to you from the link, with or without the app. Their words arrive on your Lock Screen as a letter, at the moment they chose: now, on a date, or sealed until you need it. Keep the ones that helped; when the goal is done, everything you kept becomes a book.
Do the people writing to me need the app?
No. The link works in any browser, with no account. With the app they can also send photos, their own handwriting, sealed capsules and a message for every day of the way.
A message did not arrive at the right time.
Delivery is scheduled on your device, so it needs notifications allowed for Kotozute (Settings → Notifications → Kotozute) and it helps to have Low Power Mode off. If the sender used the web link, your phone learns about the message through iCloud — open the app once while online and it will collect it.
Where is my data?
In your own iCloud. Kotozute has no server holding your goals or messages. See the privacy policy.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kotozute. You can also tap Manage subscription inside the app’s Settings. Cancelling stops the next charge; Pro stays until the period ends. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought Pro and the app does not show it.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases. If it is still missing, write to us with the Apple receipt and we will sort it out.
Someone is sending me things I do not want.
Open their name in your circle and choose Mute or Block. Blocked senders are removed from the goal and their new messages are discarded before you see them. To report a message, use Report on the message itself or write to victormanuelfrancodev@gmail.com.
How do I delete my account and everything in it?
In the app: Settings → Delete my account and data. It removes every goal, message and member from your device and your iCloud, stops all sharing and turns off your web links. It cannot be undone.
How do I turn off my link?
Open the goal, go to My circle and choose Turn off link. Anyone opening it afterwards sees that it is no longer active. You can make a new one any time.
